Born of an immigrant Father from the country of Panama, whom served in the United States Army, and a hard working mother, Alex received a hard working mentality, and a broad based world view due to his family’s constant relocations to different parts of the world and United States. Alex also spent countless hours in the courthouse studying the best and most talented litigators, improving the necessary skills to accomplish amazing results. Alex is an experienced and skilled litigator. With more than 25 years experience in the legal field, Alex provides advice and counsel to individuals as well as large corporations – with a particular focus on defense litigation. As an attorney, Alex has litigated at the highest levels throughout the United States. Alex helps clients solve their most complex and challenging legal problems. He primarily focuses his practice on complex civil and criminal litigation. Alex currently serves as outside litigation counsel to several professional service firms and companies. Alex has litigated at the highest levels and throughout the United States routinely counseling in matters that occur in the Southeastern United States. Alex takes the time to involve the client or organization and incorporate their goals, concerns, values, and feedback. Despite this extensive nationwide federal court practice, Alex is fiercely committed to Tampa and the surrounding communities. Alex received his bachelor of arts in political science and criminal justice, with minors in Middle Eastern Politics and Russian Politics from Indiana University in 1994. Alex received his Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law in 1996. As a law student at the University of Kansas, Alex specialized in litigation. Alex is a member of the State Bar of Florida and is admitted to practice in the Middle District of Florida, Southern District of Florida, the District of Columbia, and several other federal courts. Alex lives in Tampa, Florida with his wife, his three children, and two young grandchildren. He is a member of Hope Presbyterian in Lutz, Florida, and continues to serve Tampa, Florida, its surrounding communities and the nation humbly, but with pride and passion.
